Black Doves starring Keira Knightley is Netflix latest thriller! Knightley plays Helen Webb, a politician’s wife and mother leading a dangerous double life as a spy.

For ten years, she has been leaking her husband’s government secrets to the Black Doves, a secretive espionage organization.

The story unfolds after her secret lover, Jason (Andrew Koji), is assassinated, forcing Helen to confront the fragility of her cover.

Maria

Angelina Jolie plays the role of the opera singer Maria Callas who is living out her final days in Paris.

This Netflix original biographical drama captures Callas’ final days in Paris during the 1970s, offering a dreamlike portrayal rather than a strict historical account.

Grappling with a fading voice and memories of her tumultuous past—including her relationship with Aristotle Onassis—Maria reflects on her life as her grip on reality loosens.

In this new 70-minute feature film, Vengeance Most Foul, they’ll face off against their arch enemy Feathers McGraw: the evil penguin last seen locked up in 1993’s The Wrong Trousers.

Gavin & Stacey

December 25 on BBC One

One final episode of the BAFTA-winning comedy, which comprised three series and a Christmas special between 2007 and 2010, has long been teased. Well, it’s finally here, and it’s bittersweet!

The 90 minutes long special will air on Christmas day – the exact time is yet to be confirmed.

A one-off Christmas episode in 2019 drew a staggering 18 million viewers – and we suspect the return of Gav, Stace, Smithy, Nessa and the gang for one last knees-up could just top that.

Call the Midwife

For the first time ever, Call The Midwife will air not one but two Christmas specials.

Fans have traditionally enjoyed a 90-minute Christmas special, but this year’s festive trip to Poplar will be serving up milk, cookies and two 60-minute episodes.

The two-part special will leave also viewers on a festive cliffhanger as it gears up for its fifteenth season!
