Prince William Sports A Surprising Beard While Congratulating Team GB’s Olympic Medallists

Princess Kate and Prince William, whose beard has shocked the internet, are both smiling here at the camera as they film a congratulations message for Team GB Olympians.

Princess Kate and Prince William joined a star-studded line-up to congratulate Team GB in recent a video that was posted to social media. What’s really got the internet buzzing is the fact that Prince William has a beard!

Kate and William have released a rare and relaxed clip of themselves from home. While Kate continues to recover from her cancer treatment, the pair have been cheering on the Team GB from home this year.

Their short clip was part of a larger video of congratulations to Team GB and it’s many successes at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

In the video, which was shared on X (formerly Twitter), The Princess of Wales says, “From all of us watching at home, congratulations to Team GB.”

Other famous faces including Snoop Dog, David Beckham, Gabby Logan and many more joined the royal couple in congratulating the Olympians.

At the 2024 Paris Olympics, Team GB won 65 medals: 14 Gold,  22 Silver and 29 Bronze.

This year we were seventh in the medal table, which is ordered by how many golds won.

Prince William seen in public with a beard for the first time in over fifteen years

What everyone’s really talking about is the fact that a usually clean shaven Prince William was filmed with an almost full beard.

This very uncharacteristic move has caught the attention of fans across the world, many wondering when they last saw the prince so bearded.

In fact, this is the first time Prince William has sported a beard in public since 2008.

His typical clean-shaven face is possibly a result of his time in the Royal Air Force, where facial hair is forbidden.

Although, it’s Harry whose signature look is a full beard, maybe we’re about to see more a rugged style from Prince William, too.
