Only Murders In The Building, Season 4

August 27 on Disney +

At the end of last season, as happens every season, the next murder that the trio will be investigating was revealed.

Spoilers if you haven’t watched the previous seasons! This season, Mabel (Selena Gomez), Charles (Steve Martin) and Oliver (Martin Short) are searching for who killed Charles’ stunt double, Sazz.

The entire premise of the show has a bit of a The Thursday Murder Club vibe to it as three strangers bond over their shared love of true crime, only to get to close to the action and find themselves wrapped up in one after the other.

KAOS

August 29 on Netflix

This one looks a little off-the-wall!

In this dark comic drama, Jeff Goldblum plays the Greek god Zeus, but with a modern twist. The series’ creator, Charlie Covell (best known for Channel 4’s End of the F***ing World), says the premise of the show arose from the simple question, “What if the king of the gods had a midlife crisis?”

Zeus fears he is losing grip on humanity, so he decides to take on any living mortals who threaten his power. When he incarnates on Earth, he is a rich and flashy tycoon living in a mansion and acting like a mob boss, complete with a dysfunctional family.

Will he regain his power, or will he destroy everyone and everything until there is nothing left to reign over?

Strictly Come Dancing, first ever episode

August 10 on BBC Four at 7pm

Ahead of the 2024 series which is due to start later this year, the BBC is airing a repeat of the first ever episode.

What a throwback! Can you believe Strictly Come Dancing first hit our screen in May 2004?

The ever-popular show celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, so expect more ballroom nostalgia to come.
