Easter Days Out: Egg Hunts & Trails
Pensthorpe, Norfolk, March 28-April 14, 2024
Pensthorpe nature reserve in Fakenham, Norfolk, is planning a Giant Egg Hunt this Eastertime. Enormous 3D eggs, measuring over a metre tall, will be part of a new fully-immersive and multi-sensory trail around the reserve. Giant egg will be decorated to represent a different bird’s egg, each featuring some fascinating facts. Learn more about wildlife and the natural world while enjoying a brilliant family day out.
Also making a return this Easter will be the popular Pensthorpe Explorer, an all-terrain vehicle taking guests on a 40-minute off-road tour around the parts of the 700-acre reserve that the public don’t usually see.
Tickets for the event, running March 28-April 14, also include access to a wide range of Easter crafts, pond dipping, flamingo talks and nature table activities, as well as to the indoor play area, Hootz House, and the WildRootz outdoor adventure playground. There’s also plenty of opportunities for den building and, in time-honoured tradition, dozens of adorable chicks and goslings to meet.
