I’m going to make a confession: I read this week’s feature on the power of pets with interest – and annoyance! Yes, they’re great for our wellbeing, and of course they are a cute and fun addition to any family. So why was I grumpy after reading it? Well, we have a cat called Skye, who is a lovely little bundle of fur that lavishes affection on… my wife – but never me! I’m lucky if I get the odd head bump now and again, while my better half is showered with cuddles and meows. I try not to take it personally! That said, it’s a fascinating read so I do hope you enjoy it. Have a fab week.
