Mulled Wine Recipes: With Or Without Alcohol

The warmth and aroma of mulled wine can spark so many seasonal memories, from cosy get-togethers with family and friends, to Christmas markets and festive parties. Mulled wine is easy to make at home if you follow the recipes below – one with alcohol and the other without.

Alcoholic mulled wine recipe:

Elevate your traditional recipe this season with Bottlegreen’s Winter Spiced Berry cordial. The warming blend of blackcurrants, aronia berries and aromatic spices take this festive classic to a new level for a deliciously contemporary twist on this traditional Christmas favourite.

Cooking time: 5min
Serves: 2-3

  1. Heat all ingredients in a pan with a cinnamon stick.
  2. Garnish with an orange slice (fresh or dried) and cloves – then enjoy!

Top Tip:  Try adding fresh orange slices to the mixture and heating for extra citrus notes.

Non-Alcoholic mulled wine recipe:

And for those that prefer no alcohol, this version is wonderful!

  1. Mix all ingredients into a pan and heat until simmering gently.
  2. Strain and serve in a heat resistant glass. Garnish with the star anise and cinnamon stick.
