Everyone’s favourite brown bear is back! Paddington Bear returns for another heart-warming adventure in Paddington in Peru, where he is joined by more famous faces including Antonio Banderas and Olivia Colman.

The third instalment in the live-action Paddington franchise will be landing in cinemas next month. Paddington in Peru takes us back to where it all started, and the trailer introduces some new friends into Paddington’s world of chaos.

Ben Whishaw returns as the voice of Paddington who takes flight for Peru with his adopted family, the Browns. They’re all off to visit his homeland and his beloved Aunt Lucy, who currently resides at the Home for Retired Bears.

It’s here that Paddington meets The Reverend Mother a quirky, guitar-playing nun who runs the facility and tells them Lucy has been missing the Peruvian Amazon for weeks.

And so the whirlwind adventure begins. “Aunt Lucy found me when I was a cub – now I have to find her,” Paddington declares.

It’s fantastic to see Olivia Colman flexing her funny bones for this role, bringing her signature warmth, wit, and versatility to add more depth and humour to the story.

Antonio Banderas also stars in the movie! He plays a dashing river boat captain called Hunter Cabot who is helping the family navigate their way across Peru. “Smooth, strong, easy on the eyes, and that’s just the boat!” he smirks.

Hugh Bonneville will be playing Mr Brown again, Julie Walters will reprise her role as Mrs Bird and Jim Broadbent returns as antiques shop owner Mr Gruber.

Emily Mortimer has taken over the role as Mrs Brown after Sally Hawkins departed from the franchise.

Paddington in Peru promises to bring even more joy, laughter, and charm, continuing the story of the marmalade-loving bear and his quirky, lovable family.

The addition of Olivia Colman and Antonio Banderas is sure to elevate the film, making it one of the most anticipated family films of the year, promising both old fans and new audiences an unforgettable journey.
