I love Hallowe’en – so much so that I’ve booked a half day off work just so I can transform our house into a spooky wonderland and leave plenty of time to get everything ready, so that the girls can get into their costumes and dook for apples before we go out guising. We’re having a few of their friends to visit on the night, so I’m planning to give some of the Terrifying Treats on page 18 a go. The pumpkin cake is a fabulous centrepiece! If dressing up isn’t your style, we also have some great spooky book suggestions on page 22 – read if you dare! Have a great week.
