7 Exercises That Don’t Feel Like Exercise!

Sometimes exercising can feel like such a chore, but the beauty of these exercises is that it doesn’t feel like you’re doing a workout.

Many of these activities are already incorporated into our daily lives, so trying a bit harder to use more body parts when it comes to them, or just spending a bit more time enjoying the exercise will help.

Heading to the gym or joining a sports team isn’t for everyone, but by doing these activities you could be having the same positive effect on your body.

These are Zotrim’s exercise tips which won’t feel like exercise:

1 Do it yourself

Getting on with all the jobs that you’ve been putting off, instead of getting a handyman in to do them, will get you working up a sweat and feeling good about being kind to your bank balance.

2 Laugh

Having a good long belly laugh will do wonders for both your body and your brain. It’ll give you abdominal, back, shoulder and face muscles a good workout as well as helping release any stress or anxiety you may be feeling.

3 Make love

Perhaps one of the more enjoyable exercises, which can give you a great all-body workout. Enjoy an early night with your partner to help burn some calories.

4 Go shopping

It’s surprising just how many miles you can put in if you have a big shopping day. Even just a grocery shop can help tone the body, with lifting items, pushing the trolley and carrying bags all helping to burn calories. Making the switch from online delivery to collection is a small but simple change to help add in some extra steps.

5 Mow the lawn

Pushing a heavy mower across the lawn will help tone your arms and upper body muscles, as well as helping to increase your step count.

6 Play with your grandchildren

Instead of watching your grandchildren play whilst you sit down, take the time to play with them. Getting involved could help make some great memories whilst also enjoying some exercise without even knowing it.

7 Dance

Whether it’s by yourself, singing into your hairbrush, with a partner trying to follow the Strictly professionals or with family or friends in the garden, moving to a good beat is healthy as well as being fun.
