Celebrate Winnie-the-Pooh’s 90th birthday with a new anthology!

‘Ninety?’ said Winnie-the-Pooh. ‘Is that more than seven?’

‘Yes, Pooh,’ said Kanga patiently. ‘You’re ninety years old, which calls for a celebration.’

You see, someone had heard, and another person had mentioned, and then somebody had decided that it was time to share some more of Winnie-the-Pooh’s adventures. As being ninety years old was a Very Great Thing.

In this week’s issue, we are celebrating the 90th birthday of Winnie-the-Pooh, with a look back at the story behind one of the world’s most loveable bears.

So we were excited to hear about the The Best Bear in All the World (Egmont,HB £14.99) a new official sequel that follows Winnie-the-Pooh and his friends on a year of adventures in the Hundred Acre Wood.

Capturing the timeless appeal of the Hundred Acre Wood and the wonderful characterisation, dialogue and humour A.A. Milne brought to his books, The Best Bear in All the World will remind readers why they loved the original books as well as introducing Winnie-the-Pooh to a new generation of readers.

It would make a lovely Christmas gift. Fingers crossed Santa Claus will leave one under our tree!
