Make-Up Masterclass
This issue’s beauty page features six great new buys to help you prep up for spring, including Max Factor’s Limited Edition Luxe Collection for Superdrug, inspired by TV Presenter Rochelle Humes.
Max Factor make-up artist Caroline Barnes has created a glamorous, glowing look for Rochelle.
“To ensure your make-up lasts, apply Face Finity Primer to skin with fingertips,” says Caroline.
“Apply Miracle Match Foundation over skin, blending with fingertips; I like to use two shades, one a couple of notes lighter than your skin tone to highlight where light naturally hits the skin: cheekbones, bridge of the nose and along the t-zone.
“Use Masterpiece Nude Palette in Cappuccino Nudes to build a gold smokey eye. Experiment to find the right shades that work for your skin tone. Use a ligher shade as a base over the lid and build the metallic gold shade along the crease and towards the outer eye. Smudge with a small brush to finish and blend.
“Apply a winged line to the top of the eye with Masterpiece High Precision Eyeliner in Velvet Black.
“Add a touch of highlight in the inner corners of the eye and along the brow bone with Masterpiece Colour Precision Eye Shadow in Pearl Beige.
“Finish off the eyes with a slick of Masterpiece Max Mascara applied to top and bottom lashes for thick, dark volumised lashes.
“Prep lips with a light layer of Miracle Match Foundation. Start from the centre and gently push Limited Edition Luxe Collection Lipfinity in Ever Sumputous to the line of your lip. Finish by blotting the lips for a matte look.”
